Your Input on the Blog is Now Easier

Thanks to my online friend, The Frugal Girl, I have discovered that up until now it’s been very difficult for readers to comment on our blog posts. I’ve taken steps to make it easier!

Setting up a blog takes a lot of steps, most of which involve choosing options from long lists. I did a lot of “yeah, that sounds good” selection, without knowing the full outcome. Once done, much of it just got left—I rushed on to the fun stuff, leaving the details untended, I’m afraid.

The result was a comment section that requires a person to be registered to comment. That doesn’t sound like a bad thing from my side of the equation, but the mechanism is cumbersome, and not self explanatory at all!

Recently, The Frugal Girl tried to post a comment, ran into difficulty, and let me know. As a result, I’ve changed the system. Commentors must still supply their email (which won’t be visible to the public) which is only fair, but no one has to register on my site just to comment.

I hope this helps, and I apologize to anyone who may have tried to comment in the past and decided not to when faced with the overly complicated process!

Yes, thanks to you. And I’m touched to realize that you braved the old system to comment previously!
