I just took a significant step into the 21st century! The audiobook edition of Sacred Coffee: A “Homesteader’s” Paradigm is now available as a digital download.
Previously, I’d only offered it as an MP3 compact disc. We still offer that option, perhaps the “deluxe” edition, now at a new, reduced price ($19.99 +$3.00 S&H). Besides the CD packaging and jewel box, it includes a few special features that do not come with the digital download. But, digital downloads make up the majority of audio purchases these days. I own a lot of audiobooks (see Voices in my Head) but the majority of them came as digital downloads. If it’s my preferred format, I need to offer my own work in that same format.
And, now I do! In the process, I’ve figured out how to offer all of our electronic downloads, including the sifter plans and both of my books in the various ebook formats, as automatic downloads. Until now, customers placed the order, and I fulfilled them the next time I checked email. Now, these items will download when prompted by payment. Progress!
This couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve mentioned before that the new electric system upgrades (see Power Shift: A New/Old Battery Bank) cost about the same as a good used car, but that isn’t the sort of purchase we take lightly. We depend on book sales to help support us, particularly to keep this blog afloat. If you’ve ever thought about reading either of my books, or perhaps gifting them to someone you think might appreciate them, you’ll find it very easy to do so now. Enjoy!
