After turning the boat over, the next step was to cover the boat in a way that kept it dry, but allowed room for construction to continue. We decked the cabin floor completely, rather than the designed water ballast tanks (we'll use lead) with a foot well running down the center. We hatched these spaces over for storage.

Most of the plywood came with its own mildew spores. The tarp tent provided ideal growth conditions. EVERYTHING got coated with epoxy!

The Stringers go across the top of the cabin to support the upper deck. Note the heater and fan. Winter's coming, and it's cold in there! It gets harder to dry epoxy and paint. The boom box is also an essential work tool. It gets lonely under the tent, although once we raised the roof and made it less claustrophobic, visits from wife and daughter became more frequent.
