The Christening

June 30, 2001: A group of friends joined our family at Auke Rec beach to christen Selkie. Reverend Steve Olmstead, our pastor at Chapel-by-the-Lake is a sailor, and has built Bolger's Teal with Mark's help. He offered an invocation and prayer, then we popped some champagne (and sparkling cider for the kids) christened Selkie, and drank to her future.



 Is there no end to the versatility of a Bolger Boat?

Then, we raised the sails and went sailing!
